Why You NEED to be Following Bryan Singer on Instagram

Why You NEED to be Following Bryan Singer on Instagram

In this wonderful digital age that we live in, we can stalk almost anyone we want with just a few clicks of an app. What’s great is that some celebrities have given in and instead of vying for their privacy they’ve opened up their lives to us in the form of their Instagram feeds.

Like most of us many celebrities simply post photos of their food, their dogs and how they look after having just worked out. Most of the time I’m fine with that, but then comes along an Instagram feed that fills my life with joy… and not just because of hilarious cat pictures.

Bryan Singer, the hallowed director of the X-Men movies of my dreams, is well-know for intentionally leaking photos, artwork and announcements via his social media; beating traditional media to the punch by announcing his plans for everything from script ideas to castings.

This guy has given us Instagram gold and continues to do so to this very day!

Behind the Scenes

While I wish I could be on the set every day, unfortunately I cannot. I could try but I would get arrested, really quickly. The next best thing is to be following Mr Singer’s Instagram. His behind the scene snapshots instantly go viral and leave you feeling like you’re hanging out with Jean and Jubilee like regular BFFs.

And behind the scenes doesn’t mean it’s all about the actors, Bryan posted this beaut 10 months ago, fanning the flames of hype around Days of Future Past and what his plans were afterwards.

Concept Art

Not only does Director Singer post candids from the set, he also uploads plenty of concept art that he’s using to create the script and story line of the newest X-Men installment.

Casting Announcements

When Olivia Munn was recently cast as Psylocke for X-Men Apocalypse the news came directly from the horses mouth. I don’t think I’ve actually heard it from any other source other than Singer’s Instagram and Twitter accounts.

Excited to welcome @oliviamunn as Betsy Braddock! #Psylocke #XmenApocalypse #XMEN

Don’t be surprised to see plenty of familiar faces on Singer’s Instagram feed, we all know how much Patrick Stewart loves to photo-bomb.

And of course this beauty with the Generalissimo himself!

Throw backs!

Timehop ain’t got nothing on Mr Singer, with awesome images from the previous decade popping up from time to time, it’ll make you feel nostalgic for the good ole days … even if those days included Paquin.
